This visit was in preparation for their learning about firefighters this week. The children learnt about the important role that firefighters play and the different equipment they require to do this.

Just as Broadway's turn came to explore and have a look at the fire engine, the firefighters received a call for a real emergency. The children witnessed the preparations and heard the siren as they rushed off!
